This business is open! Comfy friendly neighborhood restaurant. Limited menu but great food. Duck fat fries! Good salads, (spoken by someone who doesn't like salads.)

Walked in to a friendly host, came up, seated us. Wasn't much of a wait on a Saturday at 830 pm. The ambience was really cozy!!!! What I know if the menu is that it changes pretty often, the food is farm to table, local ingredients. Had a beer, very fresh. Ordered: Shrimp and polenta with chorizo. Hubbs said it was delicious and very unique dish. I had Israeli couscous tosses with roasted carrots, fried cherries (added a sweet touch), cauliflower, crispy almonds. All over a perfect layer of curry yogurt. It was absolutely unique and really WOWED me. SO TASTY. I could've eaten 2 plates. Great spot. Will definitely go back here!! Good service too!!!

This place is the hidden gem of park slope. I swear they cast sorcery on their food because I crave it. A lot. Anyway, this place is special, because their such a great service staff, hostess, and the chef is a boss lady! I've been twice, and definitely will be back. The first time we went was when I fell in love with their burger. This second time I opted for something different. My husband and I split the grilled cheese which, despite the thick bread, was super gooey and yummy. Buttery bread is always a plus too. My husband ordered the burger and I opted for the brick chicken. HOLY %#*&. This chicken was salty, buttery, tender, briney, and just SO delicious. Not to mention it's a really generous serving. Paired with roasted radishes and asparagus, with a perfect pour of gravy, I could eat this all day. The restaurant seats probably 40 comfortably, and has a quaint bar. It gives off a rustic vibe, but isn't super "on trend" if that makes sense. It's a perfect restaurant. So go there, now!

Had the Burger and they made a "fruit punch" for me. The burger was GREAT!! Although my bun was a bit charred on the inside, I was so hungry and the Burger itself was so good, I never told them about it. The drink was very very very good! Most places don't get my non alcoholic drinks right....they definitely did! I look forward to trying it again...and no charring next time!!!!

4 and a half stars! Hubby had a craving for a good burger and this looked like the place to go in the neighborhood based on yelpers reviews. We shared the burrata salad to start. It was one if the best we have had, perfectly ripened heirloom tomatoes accompanied by basil bursting with flavor and delicious creamy burrata. All dressed in the perfect amount of balsamic and served with simple and well made lightly toasted bread. I am aware that I am waxing lyrical about a salad but it was that good. We both had the famous burger for our main. It was cooked perfectly medium as ordered and served with chunky duck fat fries. The burger is a great example of simplicity done well. Served with simple accompaniments, good ketchup, mayo with a touch of garlic and wholegrain mustard. We ate it and were happy. Service was very good and our cocktails also hit the spot.

This is probably one of my favorite restaurants in the neighborhood. It's great for a date and to dine with a group of friends. I had dinner with one of my closest girlfriends and we are like Queens. The cocktails are delicious as well. I had negroni to start. The menu changes per season. We shared the grilled cheese as an appetizer. For the main course I ordered the red wine braised short rib - which is to die for!!! I highly recommend this hearty meal. It's worth every calorie.

Disclosure: one of my best friends is dating one of the chefs. That being said, this place is fabulous. Don't miss the cocktails - the one I had with pea juice and grey sea salt was spectacular. We shared a few starters, including a riff on corn elote and a green pea salad. The menu is super seasonal and changes often. For my entree I went with the fried rice, and it knocked my socks off. Best I've ever had. You never knew it, but this is what fried rice is trying to be. It was assertive, with funky dried shrimp, fresh shrimp, and chorizo. The portion was big enough to take some home, and it was just as good leftover. My friends all got burgers and I was envious, although still happy with my fried rice. It's basically the perfect burger, and the duck fat fries are awesome. Desserts are skippable, but you should fill up on burgers and cocktails anyways.

So as usual my friend and I were looking to hit up a good join in Park Slope. Lot 2 was one of the top suggested even though it's in South Slope, but reviews said they have a sick burger and you know, we love our burgers so off to Lot 2 we went. We walked in to a dimly lit, rustic and super artsy interior. A guy behind the bar greeted us with a friendly smile and told us to sit wherever we'd like. Our waitress came over with some menus and water and we starving humans ordered away. I love that their menu is very small. No indecisiveness on our parts. We ordered the house pickled salad, a different salad with anchovies, nuts and oranges and 2 Burgers. Also a couple of glasses of red. The pickled salad was fabulous. I loved the veggies they served and it was not too acidic. The other salad was alright, wasn't crazy over it. But the burger!! Damn that burger was bangin'. We ordered them medium rare and they were just right. Oozing with juice and flavor we devoured that beast. The fries they come with were just as delicious, of course as they're fried in duck fat!! I was super full by the time I was done my burger but my friend still needed his dessert so he ordered the cake they had that day. It was a 3 x milky type of cake. I had a bite but was not smitten. Overall, we had a great evening. The ambiance was nice, quiet and chilled. The waitress was on point and the food was priced right too. We'll definitely be back for that burger.

The Two Most Important Things You Need To Know About Lot 2. 1. They have one of the best burgers I've ever eaten in my life.* 2. They have a signed photo of Benny Agbayani in the back. I don't think there's a single other one-two (Hawaiian)** punch that could make me love a restaurant more. Other things Lot 2 has: -The perfect neighborhood restaurant vibe. Candle-lit and cozy, I would be ecstatic to have this place down the street. -Casual but attentive and knowledgable service. The best balance. -Excellent booze behind the bar, and quality cocktails made with said booze. I could drink the Father In Law all day long. And then I imagine I would be drunk enough to do stupid things that would lead to a divorce, and the subsequent loss of my own father in law. Isn't it ironic? -A short, but excellent menu. Salads (I love their Caesar), mains, appetizers; everything is carefully cooked and wonderfully flavorful. This is a good restaurant, and there are no bad choices here. But seriously, don't miss out on the burger. It is action-packed with big, beefy flavor, and comes on a toasted bun that I initially thought was too hard, but stands up perfectly to the serious amount of juice. The melted cheddar and the pickled onions are enough of an accompaniment, but I like spreading a bit of the mayo, ketchup and mustard provided onto the bun. Not too much though, because the Creekstone Farms beef is the star of the show, and it doesn't need much at all. Three perfect, crisp wedges of duck-fat fried potatoes round out the meal, and although I want more, I don't need anything at all after I'm done. Watch your step on the way out though, because I've basically fallen down into the street which wasn't embarrassing in the least. _____________ *And I've eaten a LOT of burgers. **That was Benny's nickname.
